Close Call

Last week, Etsy temporarily suspended many shops on Etsy, including mine, because we clicked on a link in an email that looked as if Etsy had sent the email.  Because of that indiscretion on my part, the shop closed down for 2 days during a SALE.  After many emails back and forth with Etsy about reactivating my account, I finally got my shop back.

However, I had to manually go back to every listing and change the titles and pictures because the shop closed down during an Etsy on Sale run sale, which prevented the site from cleaning up my shop from the sale. 

But, everything is back to normal in the shop, so I'm happy and relieved. I really thought my shop was going to be permanently closed which caused a bit of a panic the first day.  I guess I really do love what I do. In the mean time, I will be bringing in some new pretties (shown below) and the shop will be on sale for the rest of 2012! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  And a happy holidays to those who don't celebrate Christmas!

Party Hopping

This past week's shop update centers around the impending parties for the holiday season.  We have dresses for the elegant party, casual get together, and accessories and outerwear to pull the look together.

What type of Christmas party will you be attending this year?  The one I am attending sadly will not allow any of these lookers because the theme is to dress up in the ugliest, gaudiest outfit possible.

Pearls, Rocks, and Beads

I have a huge shop update today, categorized to your taste.  Although the rest of the country and the upper hemisphere is experiencing autumn weather, I still like to list lighter pieces for my friends and buyers experiencing spring right about now.

So, which one are you feeling? I always like the neutral, pale colors, but putting my items together like this make me realize how I really appreciate bold colors right now, especially the red slingbacks and the goldenrod secretary blouse.  But, you can't go wrong with black, and I love wearing blazers during the fall, like the black boyfriend blazer shown above.  And of course, you could always mix and match!

At Last

 

 

 

At last, the weather has cooled down to the low 80s here in SoCal, which means it's fall.  I see the rest of the country pulling out their sweaters and boots on Instragram, and yes, I feel a twinge of longing to start layering and wear my boots.  So, I've been living vicariously through my shop and listing more autumn appropriate items.  By the way, modeling the autumn clothes while it's in the high 80s outside is actually not the brightest idea, even if the air conditioner is on.

Once again, an overwhelming shop update and an overwhelming amount of me.  But, I finally have a system, so updating is a little less of an ordeal. But, cleaning the house and cooking 3 meals a day while doing this is becoming a little overwhelming.  I've got to find a balance again...
