I've started to see fall listings slowly creep in, but I'm still basking in the summer sun.  Also, it's hard to think about fall when the days are 80 and 90 degrees.  My recent shop update is filled with shoes, dresses, and jewelry that can enhance anyone's summer wardrobe.  Enjoy!

I'm starting to favor flea markets and antique fairs over thrifting and estate sales.

The amount of vintage is amazing and the prices are definitely fair.  Also, I get to be outdoors

instead of inside in a stuffy house or stale aired thrift store.  I had so much fun

and am thankful to have a wonderful husband that will watch the baby

while I go hunting for the shop (and for myself).  Can't wait until August 1st

for the Alameda antique fair!

Friday's Favorite-1950's Christian Dior

The 1950s is by far my favorite vintage era and Christian Dior did it so well.  He managed to make beautiful silhouettes that hugged women's curves that embraced femininity while still evoking a sense of strength and power.  Amazing! 

Also, I have to admit, I am not a fan of visors, but boy does that lady wear it well and how modern chic does she look?  The way she's wearing her Dior scarf is so fashion forward, too.  If I could, I would look at these pictures all day, but I have too many things to do!  Enjoy!

Something for Everyone Sale

This shop update is long overdue, and there are many more "new" vintage items that have been listed in the shop, but I've decided to just update on what's been listed this week.  It's definitely an eclectic mix of vintage items with no overarching theme.  I'd like to think that this shop update offers a little something for everyone. The Prettiest Print I Ever Did See

This print really does remind me of my wedding day. No, I did not have wedding bells and Moses, my husband, did not come riding on a horse to come fetch me and take me to the chapel.  But, it was a special day and this dress really evokes those old feelings!  I can't help but sing "Going to the chapel and we're, gonna get maaaaried." Seriously, it's stuck in my head. I'm in love with this dress, but it's too big for me!  So, off to the shop!
